Mandarin Oriental approached us to design menus for their new rooftop bar in Mayfair. The brief required taking the project from concept to completion, creating something that aligned seamlessly with the Asian influence of the ABar lounge whilst feeling suitably premium and considered for an exclusive audience.

Our solution

We designed a premium menu cover with a subtle mottled finish, drawing inspiration from the sky and clouds that informed much of the interior design. Discreet screw fixings were introduced to allow menus to be updated with ease, without compromising the aesthetic. Internally, carefully selected papers supported a pared-back, luxury feel, allowing the cocktails, wines, spirits, and food to take centre stage.
