Brief
Mandarin Oriental approached us to design a menu for their new rooftop bar in Mayfair. The brief was to take it from concept to completion, creating something aligned with the Asian influence of the ABar lounge, while meeting the expectations of a premium, highly discerning audience.
Solution
We designed a menu that reflects the character of the rooftop setting. A premium cover with a subtle mottled finish draws on the sky and cloud references within the interior. Discreet screw fixings allow menus to be updated without compromising the aesthetic. Internally, carefully selected papers create a refined, pared-back feel, allowing the cocktails, wines, spirits, and food to take centre stage.
