A series of projects for one of the world’s largest shopping brands
To evolve the geometric design from last year’s event to target students looking for a fun night out with friends, great fashion, food, discounts and offers. The artwork needed to be flexible to adapt to various formats, from printed booklets to digital screens.
Using the photography from the autumn campaign, ikon created artwork that enabled flexibility across digital and print while using bold colours to draw attention in Westfield’s busy malls. The event attracted thousands of students.
The campaign concept ‘We are the London Summer’ celebrated all things summer in London. The event was called, ‘The Beach Club’ which involved creating a tropical beach in the city. The artwork on the facade of both Westfield centres needed to showcase this.
Artwork was initially produced with tropical leaves and flamingos, but to create a stronger spectacle we introduced more tropical birds to give the shopping centre a much more vibrant feel. A black backdrop was also produced for VIP photo opportunities.
To bring to life the Indulgence event artwork that would feature in both London Westfield centres. The concept was using a hexagon shape to be suggestive of bees & honey linking the artwork to back to food. The artwork had compliment the current campaign.
ikon produced large scale experiential graphics including the interior & exterior room graphics, floor vinyl, central reception graphics and the M&S sponsor stand. The colourful artwork helped attract shoppers to engage with the event and experience new food tastes and sensations.
