Coronation Festival

A spectacular event held at Buckingham Palace

Brief

Working with Media 10 to enhance the branding and brand consistency across all touch points before and during the event. The Queen’s Coronation Festival was the first time an event on this scale had taken place in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.

Solution

Most of the literature relating to the event was designed by ikon including the day and evening guides, presentations, screen displays, leaflets, boards and signage throughout the gardens. The Queen even received a personal version of the guides.

We worked closely with Media 10 who handled all the event management and ikon led the design of the graphics for the event. The main aspect of this was the design of the main event guide brochures for the day and evening which every guest received.

We commissioned hand drawn illustrations to feature throughout the event literature to create work fit for a queen. This was the first time all Royal Warrant Holders included Bentley, Hunter, Burberry, Jaguar and GSK, to come together in one place. It truly was a festival for some of the most prestigious companies in Britain.

Thousands flocked for the opportunity to come and experience a one-of-a-kind event in one of the most famous landmarks in England. We helped create a luxury brand for a luxury event and this cemented Media 10’s position as one of the leading events companies in the UK.
